At this point in the life of our small business, we receive most of our clients via personal referral. We’re thankful that we have folks out there who love us and our work so much that when a friend, a work colleague, or a family member is in need of a photographer, we are highly recommended.
We try our best to make sure any referral is met with our sincere thanks and send a small token of our appreciation – it’s usually coffee-related, but sometimes we also send a print or other small gift, it really depends what we think they will like most.

Planning the session
We had been itching to do a couple’s session in one of our favorite local parks, Commons Ford. The Austin Parks and Recreation department have done a great job over the last couple of years trying to restore the prairie land that lies at the park’s center and makes up a large part of the parkland.

It’s an absolute pleasure when we have a vision that a client wholeheartedly shares with us. Lisa and I exchanged ideas and inspirational content for months leading up to the session.
The Magic Morning
All the planning in the world does go far but sometimes the stars align and we find ourselves in a scene out of a dream. We had decided on a sunrise session and it turned out to be such a magical morning. The weather was perfect with lingering fog drifting through the tall grass and the energy and dynamic between Lisa and Will was electric.
We made a fast connection with Lisa and Will and they quickly became complete naturals in front of the camera. We think their love together came through amazingly well in the photos but I will let the photos speak for that, check them out below.
