Zack and Jackie (and Duke too!)

I was so excited when Zack asked me to be a part of their surprise engagement (check that out here!) way back when I was just trying to get started with photography. And I was honored when they wanted me to be a part of their engagement portraits for their upcoming wedding.

He has that type of personality that seems to put people at ease. There’s a self confidence there that you can’t help but feel drawn toward. It’s profound and as far back as I can remember, it’s always been like that.

Together for years, the chemistry between Zack and Jackie is incredible.

I loved how vibrant the colors and contrast were at the San Jose Hotel on South Congress. It’s one of my favorite places in Austin.

We wanted to incorporate the entire family into these engagement photos and we thought Duke would do great over at the graffiti park at Castle Hill.

We had a few ideas and although we did have some issues with squirrels running back and forth across some nearby powerlines, we were all really happy how the final images came out. Especially Duke because she got to eat a bunch of treats.
