Sometimes you just get lucky.

As mentioned in my last post, the entire day leading up to Kristin and David’s wedding was filled with rain. There wasn’t just rain on Saturday. It rained Friday. It rained Thursday. It rained Wednesday. And probably Tuesday too.

But then it stopped. Right at 6 pm.

We also benefited from a bit of cloud cover.

The cloud cover really helped diffuse the afternoon sun, which can be tricky to deal with when your photographing with the sun at your back.

The view from Zilker Park Clubhouse

Kristin and David loved the amazing view that the Zilker Park Clubhouse is known for.

After some socializing (and some refreshment) the cloud cover broke in the west and the sun started reflecting nicely off the downtown high rises.
